I am new to the Weddingbee boards!
I have begun to compile ideas for my wedding…the decor, the colours, the feel… I have to admit, I thought I knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted everything to look but it is definitely tougher than I imagined!
I found this bridesmaid dress and I absolutely love it. I think it would look really beautiful on my bridesmaids and in photographs. But I am definitely struggling with ideas for flowers to go with this colour.
Here is a photograph of the dress. I saw it in person too and it is as gorgeous in person as it is in this photo.
Can anyone suggest what colours and flowers might compliment this colour bridesmaid dress please! I would be so grateful!
PS: If anyone is interested, this dress is by Jasmine, Style # L144010 in Misty Pink

I bet peonies would be STUNNING!

You could do a mix of whites and pinks. White babies breath bouquets are beautiful and cheap! You could do a mix of white and blush pink roses, or mix in some hydrangea, etc. It would also be pretty with some greens mixed in.
What are your wedding colors?

Look online for inspiration- these dresses aren’t an exact color match, but are in the same family
I had to include this pic with the beautiful blue lanterns

@sevash: Do you have any ideas about accent colors you’d like to use? What sort of feel/theme are you going for?
I really like most of the pictures that @julies1949 posted. I’m not crazy about the darker, brighter pinks in the bouquets, but I liked all of the other options she gave.
Here are a few additional options I found:
@BrandNewBride mentioned peonies. This is a simple bouquet with a mixture of light pinks and white.
If you’re thinking of gold and/or champagne accents, the above would be gorgeous.
If you wanted to use greens as an accent color, I really like these.
I really like these bouquets as well … Simple and elegant.
I hope this helps!

My wedding colours are mainly silver, white and this soft, misty pink. I am planning to use babies breath in the lobby of my hall. I love the suggestion of white and pink roses and I absolutely love hydrangeas
Thank you SO much for all those photos. I like the sixth photo..those bouquet’s are exactly what I was thinking!
My colours are all going to be crisp white with silver accents. I haven’t really thought of other accent colours. Should I have more? I am going for a very classic, feminine, delicate look for the entire wedding. Thank you so much for your ideas!!

One thing I learned was not to fall in love with a certain flower only to not have it because it’s not in season. For example, I lovvveee peonies but they are not available in late summer/fall typically so my florist basically said don’t count on it.
Check out these guides to seasonality:
