I’m insulin resistant and my doctor wants me to try and lose 20 pounds before she will retest me to see if i will need to be on any kind of medication. I’ve done pretty well losing 9 pounds so far, but I feel so drained all the time.
I’ve taken B12 and I’ve also been making my own juice, but I cant seem to get the boost I need. It doesn’t help that I’m still moving a month after closing on my house for various reasons that I will not get into, because that takes up most of the small amount of energy I seem to have left.
So, is there anything that I can take to help me?

Did you have energy issues before the diet? If so, then I don’t think you’re eating enough. I find that when I eat better foods, I am more energetic. My weight issues are from eating too much junk food. When I cut out the junk the energy increases.

I have little energy lately because my mattress needs to be replaced. It is really affecting me. Are you sleeping well at night? It makes all the difference for me!
Also, lots of fresh food and high protein helps.

I struggled a little with it. There was a period of time when I could sleep all day and still be tired, but it was only for a short time and it came after I quit smoking.
I am sleeping well which is why I don’t get it. I tossed out almost all the junk food in the house and loaded up on organic produce and meat. I’ll get a short wave of energy but it leaves me about halfway through my walk and I don’t seem to get it back at all.

I think it’s great that you quit smoking and are losing weight.
You may not be eating enough?
Are you eating the right foods?
Are you anemic?
Do you eat anything before your walk? or do you go on an empty stomach?

I’m eating the amount and the type of foods on the list my doctor gave me, and I rarely ever feel hungry after eating. I usually go walking in the morning, so it’s about an hour after I’ve had breakfast. I am also not anemic and I’m drinking plenty of water.
