I’m wanting to make my wedding program so that it can be used as a fan since we’re having a outdoor ceremony. I’m trying to decided just how to print these suckers off. I’m looking at vista print, but I can’t find a pattern I like and when I upload my own images they seems to be a little blurry. Anyone have any advice?

You need to use hi-res images for 4-color printing, so no little jpegs of gifs taken from web sites, or not type saved as a low-res jpeg. Check out Etsy!

These are our program paddle fans we made.. I looked on vistaprint too and didn’t see anything I liked. I also looked on Etsy and they wanted to much $$.. I sent my now husband pics of programs I liked and he used Microsoft publisher and cut, copied, and Pasted, the he added his own wording.. Printed out fine… the images I used came out clear but I see when other people keep uploading images that have already been uploaded before it comes out fuzzy.

@CPearson1016: I’m using pdf files That I created in photoshop. They look nice on my end, but turn slightly fuzzy when uploaded. I was wondering if this is normal and if they look better printed than in the proof.
I’m using 8.5″x5.47″ 130 lb. Premium Glossy paper if that makes a difference.
Plus I’m on a budget so The DIY option seems to be my best bet.

@val_toro: Did you print those out on your home printer? They look very nice!

i just sent all my invitations to vistaprint to be printed.
none came out blurry or fuzzy in the proofs. i used a pdf image to upload.
make sure the sizing is correct,
check with vistaprint to make sure which format works best.

I printed my own invites, programs, menus, etc., and the key thing for me was to make sure my files had at least 800 pixels/in. Have you tried converting to a PNG file? I printed at home, so I don’t know what kind of files vistaprint accepts, but vectors tend not to blur.

I should be receiving these on Friday! It says the come with templates and designs, so we will see how it goes. I premade my own template in Word based on the specs of the fan area. I hope they are easy.
