so how are your planning going?

what's your ceremony?

did you choose you outfits?

i'm getting married in Sri Lanka in July, i have a demetrios dress that i'll wear for the reception but need a saree for the cereminy, a saree for the home comming and the second reception. I was planning to buy it in Sri Lanka :)

Hi Ladies,

Less than 4 months from the big day. Getting married in Toronto and will be having 2 ceremonies (gurdwara and church) and then a reception. I am punjabi anmd my FI is guyanese. I have chosen all 3 outfits and done the big stuff. Planning has been fun -- but stressful at the same time.

Anyone else?

Hey all! Theres a year and a half until my wedding but I am already in full planning mode! Planning is great and I love doing it! I just bought my wedding dress, Vera Wang, the 'Ethel' dress..beautiful mermaid with this unique skirt. We are getting married in Colorado Springs, CO (even though we live in Los Angeles) at the United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel! Its a beautiful structure, very contemporary (just like us as a couple and our wedding!):) I am from Trinidad and FI is guyanese! I am having trouble trying to stay on budget (even with a small invite list of 50 or so) and also trying to work in a Hindu ceremony (we are thinking about a separate Hindu wedding and small reception)

I feel bad for abandoning this board! I actually have returned to the Bee since I'm pregnant, and we have the best boards :)

We had a beautiful wedding and reception in Malaysia. We ultimately decided to do 100% Hindu (to please my in-laws) and honestly, we had a fantastic time, and I don't regret just giving in :) If anyone's interested I can post more pics, this was my wedding sari, I also had an engagement sari (that I started the wedding with) and reception one... Do you see all the rice in my hair? That's AFTER I got most of it out when I first stood up. Guess we were super blessed :) Best of luck to all of you in your weddings!
