I am 15 months away from my wedding and I am dying to start putting plans into action! This waiting is killing me. I have my venue booked but other then that I just have plans and don’t know when it is appropriate to start tackling other to do’s. I am trying to wait until the fall bridal shows in order to shop for vendors and make that the beginning of the actual planning and implementation of plans I have but it seems like forever away!
Any other bees waiting during a long engagement and any ideas on how to deal with the waiting????

uh I have the same problem it is like 13 months until my wedding…I have everything booked (venue, church, DJ, Caterer, Photographer) so now it is just the details like dress, hair, music, decor, flowers and it is CONSTANTLY on my mind…I just want it to be closer so that I can talk about it all without people thinking im crazy. It is so hard to just relax and wait until an appropriate time to do the planning 🙁

My wedding is 18 months away!! I am in the same boat – he thing that helps me are lists. You can wirte one up, add to it. Play with your budget, then re-write the list of things you consider a priority. The bonus is that because we do have so much time, we can afford to shop around, looking for the the best deal. I would start with things you cannot go without. For me it icludes – venue (& food), someone to conduct the ceremony, photographer, flowers. Hope that helps!
