Welp, guys, Im in the TWW! This is my first month trying after my 2nd MMC in February and I had an IUI yesterday. Ultrasound showed I had 1 mature follicle at 19mm on Saturday and I triggered that night. I’m praying hard for a healthy pregnancy. The TWW is so hard!!

ROLL CALL

Your Age/Partner’s Age: Both 33

How long you have been together/married: 4 years / 2 years

How long you have been TTC: Started July 2016

Known Issues/MC/TTC History: Conceived DS quickly and easily in 2015. Started trying for #2 a year ago. Went to my OB after about 8 months without success. Basic bloodwork determined I had low progesterone and likely weak ovulation. Did 3 medicated cycles- one on just progesterone, one on progesterone and Femara, and finally one on just Femara. Got my BFP about a week and a half ago. Started spotting a week ago but it was minimal and my midwife was not concerned. However it really picked up last night/this morning and we confirmed likely miscarriage this morning. I had no gestational sac at 5 weeks + 6 days. Waiting on repeat bloodwork and follow up ultrasound.

Your TTC plans for the next few months: Obviously have to wait and see how the next week goes but hoping to try again asap. I’ll likely have to go back on Femara and definitely going back on progesterone. I’m really regretting not taking the progesterone this month.

Just for fun: Do you have any fun summer plans? We’re in the process of buying a house and hoping to close at the end of the week. So mostly enjoying the new place and settling in; getting to know our new neighborhood!

MsTrulove22 :  Good luck!! Can’t wait for your update!

auggiefrog :  For me, I hate waiting to O way more. I’m always convinced that I’m never going to ovulate, plus I can never tell if I have EWCM or semen from BD (sorry, TMI, lol). Of course I am waiting to O right now…

ilovethesun :  I’m so sorry. 🙁 It’s so hard, especially that awful limbo stage. I hope things are able to resolve quickly for you.

auggiefrog :  Thank you. I go in for my repeat beta this afternoon so crossing my fingers my number has dropped. It was pretty low on Monday (79) and I’ve passed several large clots since then. I’m feeling good that things are moving along as they should but I really don’t know. The waiting really is the worst! It’s almost Friday (at least that’s what I’m telling myself)… Hope you can move forward soon as well.

So my doctor said because I had a d&c she wouldn’t do a hcg blood test to measure it to 0 unless I wanted which tbh I’m sick of blood tests so I said no. I’m planning to do a pregnancy test just wondering if that’s still positive will an opk be reliable?

Mrs2b2014 :  How long ago was your procedure? I didn’t use any OPKs between mine and my first period post D&C so I don’t know about that but I am getting weekly blood tests (today will be my 7th week — last week HCG was still 5.6 — aargh) and I got my period while I still had HCG in my system. I started OPKs and haven’t gotten any positives yet and today is CD17. I would NTNP if I were you. The OPKs are making me a bit crazy. Good luck!

Mrs2b2014 :  Everyone is different, but I would NTNP until your period returns because the remaining HCG could definitely throw off the OPKs and give you wrong info. Good luck!

So in typical me fashion I didn’t listen lol.

Took a preg test on 15th and was a light pos

took an opk on either 15 or 16th which was faint

took an opk on 17th which was positive

took an opk on 18th which was positive

soooooo I guess I’ll wait til tomorrow haha but we bd on 16 and 17 so hopefully if it is ov then we’ve had good timing, who really knows lol.

im going to keep testing with opk until af anyway just to see what happens and do a pregnancy test every week to watch levels go down
