I think the biggest enemy for me is the internet, honestly. This board alone nearly drove me insane with obsessing over TTC. I’ve had to take a step back and try really hard to not let it drive me crazy. Thankfully my wedding is in less than 6 months so that helps distract me. I don’t know what I’m going to do if we’re still not pregnant by then though. I’m on my 10th cycle with one miscarriage in cycle 5. It’s hard. But it’s really good that you’ve taken so many steps to make sure your body is doing what it’s supposed to be doing. Regular cycles with documented ovulation shifts are good. I hope you do not have a long wait for your BFP. Good luck!!

@KatieBklyn:  It’s hard not to have anxiety. I don’t think there’s any real way to make it go away. I just try to reel it in when I go to crazy town. Take a deep breath, remember that there is no way to know until you know. And take it one day at a time. I stress a lot about fertility. We’re not TTC until March/April but I’m charting now and off the pill to prepare. I just keep reminding myself that we will be parents- whether it happens on its own, with IVF, or through adoption- we will be parents and that kind of calms me down a little.

@KatieBklyn:  Aww hun I totally understand how you feel. TTC can cause so much anxiety BUT I really have to say, you just distance yourself from the blogs and the constant web presence. You’re getting worked up and frankly there’s nothing you can do til you try a few cycles! Stop reading and stressing! Trust your body!

@KatieBklyn:  I saw you posted in the August thread– did you get pregnant that fast?! Congratulations! So happy to hear! As a fellow bee with PCOS who isn’t yet trying (we’re getting married this summer), it is SO awesome to hear success stories!

@KatieBklyn:  hahah I am sure I’ll be the same way! I had to stop reading stuff on the internet because it was making me think I’ll have the worst time ever. My endocrinologist told me to remember that the only people who take the time to blog about their experience or post on the TTC forums are the people who have the hard time. He said that most people who don’t struggle in general don’t post about it because it wasn’t something they need to find support for. Makes sense but kinda sucks to not see the positives. PCOS online is a black hole of misery so thank you SO MUCH for being a shining light! I’m sos o happy for you! They wouldn’t prescribe me metformin because I’m actually a few lbs underweight according to BMI and they’re convinced it won’t help. However, I’ve read a LOT of good things about it online so I’m hoping they’d let me try it if I was having trouble.
