Hi!
Well, we blew the other thread out, so time for a new one...This is continued from:
http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/ttc-chatty-cathy
So tonight I was explaining to DH about the funny shifts in my temperature and how it looks like I might have O'd later than I thought and he said "I just wish it would happen so we could stop talking about it and talk about something else". We're only 1 month in so it looks like you WB ladies are the only ones I have to talk to!
Just jumping in on this to stay up to date with everyone! No new news from me, though....still BFN at 10DPO.
Hi everyone! I'm new here, just popping in to say hello. I must say I'm learning a lot about TTC from you ladies. I really didn't know there was so much information! I'm like 10-14 DPO (not too sure since I only JUST learned about charting and temping).
@Cole B: DH and I are also on cycle 1! I also just talked to him about temping next cycle and he was soooo confused.
@Mrs. Amethyst: We are not Cycle 1 (Cycle 7, actually), but are going to start temping next month to.
I have a gut feeling this month isn't our month. Just want to get the 2WW over and done with so we can start over!
Hi, bees. DH and I are NTNTC, but we talk about wanting to get pregnant all the time.
Because of my crazy work schedule, I am unable to chart accurately. So...
Right now we're just winging it and not focusing on when my most fertile days are. This last "attempt" didn't stick, so I bought those pee-on-a-stick fertility tests for next time.
Just wanted to pop in say "hi!"
That's all. lol :)
Right now, I'm up at the top of the users posts in Babies. I've never been at the top before. That's crazy!
SO, hubby kept putting his leg across my lower stomach while we were sleeping last night and it would wake me up because it hurt and I would move his leg away. Not sure what that means, but I'm looking for signs everywhere.
Tonight we are going on a date and I'm super excited!
Hello ladies! Welcome to the new TTC'ers and NTNT'ers!
@Mrs. Bonnie Blue: Aw, I love date night! What are you planning on doing?
@twodoghouse: I think we are going out to eat and then coming home to watch Star Wars. We got the special disc set and Hubby has been all about watching them. :)
Hi ladies! It's nice to see some new people hanging out here with us, welcome to the crazy train :)
4DPO here and so hopeful!!!
We are totally booked up this week so I hope it helps the TWW fly by! We had some friends over for a dinner and game night last night, I'm going to a Keith Urban concert with my sister and best friend tonight, we have a newlyweds bible study tomorrow night and a get together on Friday night! Busy busy busy.
Well, I was able to resist testing this morning...11DPO and trying to hold off testing as long as possible.
@jaguar:Just trying to get through the afternoon! LOL. I really wish I had more sick time..if I did I'd be home in bed! Going to a concert sick this evening probably isn't the best idea but oh well, it'll be worth it!
Also trying to stop myself from breaking out the bag out gluten free brownies I have in my tote. I made them for us girls to munch on while we're getting ready for the concert tonight and I'd really like all of the brownies to make it until the evening haha.
Sorry to impose, but seeing my name in a thread completely threw me as I am rather chatty lol
p.s. I'd like to be TTC, but I'm not in a position to do so job wise :(
@Running Elley: Mmmmm. foodstuffs. I am STARVING this morning!
@Prewitt: I think this thread is perfect for Chatty Cathy's. Welcome! :)
@jaguar: lol ;) I am going to have to tell my friends about Chatty Cathy as they'd laugh, though they'd probably start calling me that.
Ladies, I got out of work early today, yay!
Is it me, or are there pregnant people coming from every which direction now that you're TTC?? I have the tv on the Rachel Zoe Project and she's like 8 months pregnant! And I swear everywhere I look, a pregnant woman is walking in my view!
@Mrs. Amethyst:Yes! They're everywhere!!! And even people who I’m not sure are pregnant…I see a little bump action and just "know" that they have to be pregnant haha.
Hey ladies :) Is it bad that I am truly tempted to buy enough tests to test every single week...?
and yes, it seems as if now that I am TTC EVERYONE is getting pregnant!! I never realised how hard it is to find out other people are pregnant :/
@cyndistar3:Nope! I bought 50 HPTs online…bulk is the way to go ;)
@Running Elley: Ooooh that is a good idea! I hate buying the 2 at the store for like $8... rediculous!
@cyndistar3:Yepp! It's just like $10 for that many of them plus shipping. Then I don't feel as guilty taking them even when I know it's too early. If I get a BFP on the cheapie I'll probably go out and get a digital to confirm but it'll still be a lot cheaper!
@Running Elley: that is a good idea... where do you get them in bulk??
@cyndistar3:Amazon :) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004AOMAOG/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_3?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B0026995KO&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=17Q4SAN99XFY7TX89TEB
@Running Elley: Exactly! Every woman of child-bearing age with a pooch is pregnant in my mind... I'm going bonkers! Are the cheapie HPTs pretty accurate? What hcg level do they detect?
Last night I had a dream that I took a HPT and it was a BFP! The weird thing was that the control line was the regular reddish color and the test line was green, haha. Anyone else have similar dreams? Obviously, I have babies on the brain!
Ah, help me. Just got an urge to POAS even though I decided to take today off and test tomorrow. -No self control---
@Mrs. Amethyst: A couple nights ago I had a dream that I took a test and it too was a BFP! I was so excited then I woke up :( I am hoping this is a sign though
@Running Elley: ooh thanks :) I think I am going to order these...
@Mrs. Amethyst:I just googled and found that they detect 25mlU/ml which is pretty good. I know lots of ladies here have gotten fairly early results with them! I have those kinds of dreams all the time lol.
@Cole B: How many DPO are you? Try to hold out if you can! It's taking all my will power to wait till Thursday (that's when AF is expected to rear her ugly head, lol)... you can do it! :)
I just found out that a friend of mine is pregnant with her FOURTH. FOURTH! Oh em gee. Makes me feel like a prune.
Off on a date with my handsome Hubby!!!! See you ladies later tonight!
@Running Elley: 25mlU/ml is really sensitive... I may have to order some myself now, hehe. But I'm trying REEEEEEEEEEALLY hard not to jump the gun and test too early... maybe not a good idea to buy bulk HPTs, haha.
@jaguar::( Hopefully you can be making a similar announcement after this cycle! (Well…it'd be your 1st instead of your 4th…unless you're preg with quadruplets -is that even the right term??-…you never know! LOL)
