SunC19:  Its entirely possible you are pregnant. However lots of people talk about their cycle taking a while to regulate and there are loads of Bee’s who had a really long wait for their first real AF off birth control. I got all excited as I was late, but she turned up after three days of wondering when I should test. You may well have ovulated much later than expected. If you want to take a test then do, get excited for a BFP but be prepared to wait you may still be in the game but just a bit behind where you expected for this cycle.

SunC19:  I stopped my birthcontrol at the end of February and never got a period. In April I took a pregnancy test to ‘calm the crazy’ thinking it would be nothing, I actually got a BFP. My boobs were extra sore, some weird cramping here and there and I was constantly hungry. All of this was somewhat normal PMS type symptoms for myself, just more noticeable than normal which I chalked up to being off the birth control.  It is entrirely possible for you to be pregnant, but it is also entirely possible for you to just be regulating to being off BC.

I would take a test – it’s worth the piece of mind either way!

I don’t want to get your hopes up but I had pregnancy type symptoms, but it was coming of the pill for so long. I was 15 days past before I got my period. Going off the pill just messes with your body.

My first period off the pill was 20 days after AF was due.  I did have some brown spotting & tons of pregnancy symptoms so I took alot of tests.  But I was pregnant.   So take tests – just dont get your hopes up too much.

Your body can be pretty messed up coming off the pill. I missed my period entirely the first month after I went off it but still had cramping (like I was expecting it any day). It came back full force the following month and I’m slowly getting back to regular cycles now (went off at the end of January).

SunC19:  When I got off the pill my first cycle was about a week delayed from usual. On the pill you’re used to a 28 day cycle but my first cycle off was 36 days. I was charting so I knew it was because I ovulated on day 22 instead of the “typical/average” day 14…meaning my period wouldn’t arrive when it had been on the pill but was instead a week later on day 36. Have you considered charting at all? If you were charting you’d know what was going on with your body and cycle and not be in this weird limbo of not knowing. Just a though! It might help ease your mind each month. 🙂

My first cycle off BC was wacky! AF showed up on time but was super long and heavy, and my cycle was short.  Next cycle was better, and this one is better still.  Takes some time, but definitely test if you continue to be late!

SunC19:  I feel like you are reading my thoughts!! I stopped the pill in April too. My period came early in April so I feel like that also messed everything up. But, I was suppose to start my new pack on the 21st. According to my app, with the early period, AF should have come 9 days ago. However, I think my system is really screwed up by going off BC and having an early period in April. I had a couple cramps and weird feelings but nothing that leads me to believe I’m pregnant. I don’t really want to take a test because I honestly don’t think I’m pregnant. I’m just impatient to have a regular cycle!

I would take a test because it will give you an answer on that front. Then, and it will be a tough, wait for your period to come.  My 3rd cycle off the pill I got a period on June 16 and didn’t get another until August 10.  Yeah. Do the math.  I took lots of pregnancy tests, but didn’t understand (because, well, no one teaches you about this!) that cycles are NOT all 28 days.  That was a long cycle.  The next cycle, I charted because I wanted to make sure I was ovulating and try to pinpoint when I might be ovulating.  That next cycle I ovulated on CD 40. The next one, CD 32. I’m pregnant now, but those 6 months of charting were VERY valuable. If your cycle doesn’t regulate, I really recommend charting.

SunC19:  That literally what just happened to me!!!I stopped the pill in april, and should have got AF May 7th…. nothing….I was like hmmmm I dont think IM pg? but I did a test and it was negative. I checked my charting and actually noticed a few signs of O the day before and day of when I was supposed to get AF, and I had a temp shift etc….. so I figured ok maybe Im just a couple weeks “off”.

I had some spotting the last 2 days and sure enough I get AF today….. Im not 100% if I actually O last week but if I did then I had a super short L phase. Just you wait, you’ll get AF soon!! At least now I might get KU a tad sooner lol….I thought AF wouldn’t be here till next week because of my possible O, but oh well! I’ve been like omg can AF hurry up already? haha totally feel the same way “lets get this show on the road”

Im not trusting FF with my next predicted O date though because its basing it off my last cycle length (36 days) which is cause of the pill….so Im gonna assume the average and just BD as much as possible with temping.

I completely skipped my first period off the pill – no spotting, nothing. I tested for peace of mind, but got a BFN, as I expected.

I would go ahead and test, so you know for sure, but this happens to a lot of women when they go off the pill, apparently.

SunC19:  I am totally with you. We were suppose to officially start TTC in May but with lack of AF we can’t really do that. It’s annoying not knowing when AF will be here. I hate feeling crummy too.

SunC19:  We are going through the same situation. I got off BCP last month and also did have symstoms of cramping  & I had very sensitive nipples… I’m so supposed to have my AF this Friday though, but idk if I’ll even get it? Hmm.. I did take a PT it was a negative… /: so I guess I’m waiting and seeing for my period to come soon so I’ll know Forsure.
