Ttc can be an emotional roller coaster! This is my first cycle and I am almost at the end of my tww :s. I’m 11dpo right now and one minute I’m convinced I’m prego and the next I think there is no hope and all i can think about is peeing on sticks! I used a frer yesterday and got a bfn …10 days is early tho. I woke up this morning lightheaded and dizzy so that could be a good sign.  I am trying to stay busy but mostly going crazy lol

@ashleycan86:  I totally understand.  I thought of stopping birth control but DH seemed a little put off by the idea, and we tried condoms once and it was terrible for both of us.   So I stayed on the pill until DH was ready, which honestly was about three months after I was psychologically ready.  Now I have no idea how long my cycle might be.  I’m so jealous of people I see on here that have been off the pill for a year and have regular cycles and are just starting TTC.

I’m only CD25 so I could be lucky and have a normal cyce right away but it’s awful not knowing.

I think I told you this in another thread, but I hope you get your BFP or AF soon!

@ashleycan86:  So you know when you ovulated?  May I ask how many DPO you are now?  I thought the luteal phase was pretty much always 14 days or less, and that the variable factor was how long it took to ovulate.  Am I not right about that?  Ugh…back to researching.

@ashleycan86:  If it makes you feel better to know you’re not alone, I’m in a similar boat.  I stopped taking the pill at the end of September, and my cycle is at 42 days and counting.  *Sigh.

I really didn’t want to chart my periods and try and figure out when I was ovulating for this first pregnancy.  I wanted to just enjoy ourselves and see what happens. But now that I’m turning out to be so irregular, I feel more pressure to chart everything.  I think all this research and planning is going to drive me insane.

@ashleycan86 I feel ya!  I need to read that book because I feel like I’m getting SO confused.

How the hell did our moms/aunts/grandmas pull this off?!  It seems like so much has to go right for this whole thing to happen!

@ashleycan86:  PP was right. LP’s are generally a standard length. My guess is you didn’t ovulate or  you ovulated MUCH later than you think you did.

What makes you think you ovulated October 3?

Unfortunatly, CM isn’t the greatest indicator on it’s own. There are lots of people who get EWCM for a few days and then get it again 2 weeks later or after ovulation.

I know many people say that temping is stressful, but I find is actually calms me down 🙂 I know what is going on with my body, I can confirm that it is doing what it is supposed to be doing, and I know what to expect (either AF or when to test). It takes about a minute a day, and really makes me feel BETTER about it all 🙂

Temps are very individualized. My post O temps are the same as many bees pre-O temps. I just apparently run cold 🙂

I went like 40-some-odd days between going off the pill and getting my first cycle.

You should regulate soon!

Before and during birth control, my period was a regular 30 days. After stopping it over a year ago, my period has turned into every 6 weeks. If I could do it over, I don’t think I would have stayed on BC for as many years as I did.

@ashleycan86:  Thanks for the support.  🙂  There’s nothing to do but wait!
