I have had my tubes tied for 5 years. After my wedding in July actually two days after I had a period and haven’t seen one ever since. Going on 4 months without it and its driving me crazy. Took two home pregnancy tests both negative. So I made an appt to get a check up and when the nurse asked my last cycle her eyes got big when I told her July. She did two tests both negative. She said we will find out what’s going on and all they did was a Pap smear which everything came out negative. I want to get an ultrasound done. What do you bees think I should do?

Were you always regular? Has something else changed, like diet, stress, exercise? A lot of things can have an effect on missing your period.

Any other symptoms? Probably not PCOS since you haven’t had problems with irregularity.
Did they do bloodwork to rule out anemia and other things that could cause it?

There are many other causes of missed periods:
Did they do urine or blood tests?
Did they order any hormone tests?
Having an ultrasound might not be what’s needed at this point if there is no pregnancy to find nor any other indicator like pain etc.
How old are you? ( You don’t have to answer here) Could you be in perimenopause?
( meno pause by definition, is having no period for 12 months, so you aren’t there yet.)
