My wedding weekend (Oct. 2009) was the first time I had ever been to Tucson. I planned a destination wedding in Tucson (we live in SC) and we had our wedding at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa. Our wedding contract with the resort included consultation with Sylvia.
As I live on the east coast, we did a lot of our correspondence via email. However for the initial and final consultation we held a phone meeting. Sylvia was a pleasure to work with. I did not have a very large flower budget ($1k) and I was not picky about the types of flowers, but really only specific about the color. I think that since I was pretty flexible about flower type it naturally made it easier for her to work within my budget for flowers and dcor (linen rental). I wanted a modern minimalist style arrangement and sent Sylvia probably about 50 pictures via email and she kept a folder of all of the pictures and our email correspondence. When I received the flower dcor quote I was a little surprised at the linen rental cost; so she did some research and found a vendor with similar quality linens for a cheaper price. I thought that was amazing of her to do that! Sylvia was very organized and responsive to my frequent emails. She did an amazing job of decorating for our reception and ceremony and ensuring the ceremony coordinator had all of the timeline information that she had prepared. I am more than happy with her work and definitely recommend Creative Arrangements by Sylvia for flowers, dcor, and coordination services!
