@missmess:  Here’s mine! I thought it would be a traditional one-point bustle but when the seamstress said she could do a french bustle I was thrilled!

@thefuturemrsjrd:  Mine looked really similar to that but higher up. I had Enzoani Grace for my dress. I thought the bustle would be easier. Apparently not. It took my very experienced seamstress forever.

OP – I think tulle bustles usually look a bit messy in a romantic kind of way. Try to not have a vision in your head of exactly what it needs to look like, and let your seamstress do what works easiest/looks the best. That is my best advice, because I agonized about my bustle.

@missmess:  neat that you say that because my seamstress kind of described to me that over wouldnt look quite right. She said because of the delicate fabric there would have to be a million little buttons or hooks and eyes, and it might look more ‘pointy’ where it attaches, than flowy and romantic.

(I also love the messy romantic look)

My vote is definitely for an under bustle!

Here’s what mine looked like, the satin bows were added on.

The train was MASSIVE, so even with it bustled it looks long.

This is my dress, but I found this picture of this girl when I googled the style number. It’s a plain tulle ball gown skirt.

@missmess:  I did the Champagne color – I fell in love with the color when i tried the champagne sample on and I never saw myself getting a white wedding dress. How about you?

@missmess:  There definitelty was still some of the trian left behind me bc it was so long in the 1st place that even bustled it was long 🙂 It didn’t really get in the way of dancing or anything, it was a big dress anyways so I expected to be a big poof all day! It was fine for the 1st dance, and then for the end of the night dancing I mostly just bunched it up and held it to dance!
