Ok here is my delimma. I need to cinch in about an inch off my lower tummy and hips, but I am concerned about using the full body shaper because I have a lace up dress and I am not sure how I would get it down to go to the bathroom with out having to unlace the dress. or do you have to get out of your dress to pee??? I have no idea! Also, sweating *down there* The times i have tried my dress on i am sweaty between the thighs almost immediately. Any tips on how to minimize this and feel comfy?

Theres another post on this and everyone suggested Monistat Chafing Gel, Its like $6 and supposed to work wonders in the thigh area, and it also works as a foundation primer.

I would look at a tummy shaper with legs. Spanx makes them with a hole in the crotch so you don’t have to take them down to use the bathroom. The material on the legs would prevent chafing.

the spanx with the whole in the crotch that has legs and tucks under your bra works really well, however it is a pain to pull up and down and very diffficult to try to pee through the whole in the crotch, youll most likely end up peeing on yourself, which i have done…trust me

which type of spanx has the panel for going to the bathroom?

You might also try the kind of shaper that’s like a super-tight slip instead of shorts on the bottom. Then you can just bunch it up when you need to use the restroom and slip it back down after. Go for the anti-chafing gel on the inside of your thighs.

I got a Squeam waist cincher on Amazon. It’s just the waist/hips, so no bathroom issues. Amazon allows free returns, so I got a couple sizes and picked which one fit better. If you go that route, practice first. They take some getting used to, but really do the job.
