I don't have a recipe to share (my mom handles the T-Day turkey and we don't make turkey at home, not sure why), BUT last T-Day the turkey was dry-brined for 48 hours, with salt, pepper and LEMON ZEST. It was awesome -by far the best turkey we've ever had.
My DH loved this recipe that I used from Rachel Ray. Here. This is just for turkey breasts, not the whole turkey.
If you have a slow cooker, throw a frozen (that's right, frozen) turkey breast in the cooker along with a packet of onion soup mix. Cook it on low for 8 hours--the turkey is soooo tender. Plus it's a super-easy weekday meal :)

So I know it's not Turkey time, but when it was, they had great sales... So now I have three frozen turkeys and I plan to cook one for Easter, because we'll have people over for a weekend.
I loved my recipe the first time I made turkey, but I also love to try new things.
Please share your turkey goodness! :)
