How do I do that? My friend gave me a flower pin that she used in her friends wedding and even though it’s ivory and i wanted pink, anythng to save myself $30-40. Now I just need to make it a hair flower. I’m not DIY inclined so while it may be simple to some, it’s really difficult for me to figure out. Do I get a hair clip and hot glue gun it together? HEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!

Remove the pin. Get a hair comb or barrette, whichever you prefer, and hot glue the flower.

I’d use E6000 or wire to put on the clip, only because if your wedding day is hot (and, well, it’s August!), then the glue CAN melt and the flower can fall off. If you use wire or E6000 (it’s about $6 at Walmart or $12 at Michaels), then you have much more security.

$40 for a flower hair pin? I have a pink one that cost $5 from a chinatown shop. Try Claire’s or Target. They’re in style now, so they’re not hard to find.
Here is my flower hair pin that I wore to a wedding. The back has three attachment choices: a pin, elastic, or hair clip.

@shebang: I was looking at some on Etsy. I didn’t see anything I liked at Target or Claire’s unfortunately. Doesn’t matter now because I got mine for free from my friend!!
@takemyhand: I picked up a tube of the E6000 at Michaels it was 3.99 and I had a 50% off coupon! Looks like it’s a good glue to have around the house regardless. Fiance said it looked like NASA glue, LOL

@WestieGirl: It’s AMAZING. I used it for my pocketfolds on my cards, to securely have beads attached to my veil, to stick together magnet buttons, to finish handmade bouquets and more. Only caution: Use it in a really, really, REALLY well ventilated area. It stinks.
