I bought a new piece of lingerie for every night. It wasn't too expensive b/c I went to TJ Max, Ross, etc, they have some cute stuff!
Well, I'm not sure if I would say our honeymoon lovin' was hotter than usual, but I will say that the hotels we stayed at did their best to help us out, lol...rose petals almost every night, free champagne, bubble baths set up for us, etc. So that helped create a nice mood for sure! I also think that just being in a new place make it more exciting...and some nice new lingerie never hurts :)
Like artbee, I also bought new lingerie for every night. And on our wedding night I had a little "naughty bride" outfit.
I don't wear lingerie too often so he was excited about each new outfit!
Also, you can bring things to set the mood. We had a private pool so I got huge sex pool dice and we played several games. And I brought a bunch of candles in my bag to help make our room romantic and cozy :)
Those that did lingerie, what type did you get, if that's not to personal. I am interested in trying something super sexy, but it will be a big surprise to him...i wear a lot of little nightgowns, but never tried anything more daring...
I got a variety. Some were more like little nightgowns, some were lacy, some were silk. I liked it b/c some nights we had a big dinner or I wasn't feeling well (I get migraines) so I could put on something more comfy and not as tight, but still look cute.
Also, like hilsy85 said, just having things different is exciting in itself. If you're a night or morning person usually, suggest going back to the room in the middle of the day.
I also got different lingerie for each night. Like artbee, I got a variety. Some lace, some silk, some tight, some flowy, some bra and panty sets - all sorts of different things (and colors). DH really enjoyed seeing so many new outfits each day (especially because I don't wear lingerie at home that often).
We also lived together before the wedding and honeymoon but, despite that, DH and I found that we seemed to be a bit more spontaneous on the honeymoon - regardless of what our sex life at home was like. The atmosphere just kind of lends itself to letting loose a bit more!
I, too, got lingerie and surprised him. (Hardly wear it at home)
But even more than that, we just had the most romantic time just because we were in paradise. Sitting on the balcony looking out at the Caribbean Sea put BOTH of us in the mood at any moment. :) It was so relaxing and fun that it just felt different. Totally different than living at home in Pennsylvania dealing with the daily grind. We always have more romance and fun when there is less stress and how can a Caribbean honeymoon be stressful??? I'm sure you'll have a blast!
My girlfriends threw me a lingerie shower and as I opened each 'outfit' they had to think of a name for it. Most of the names were a little racey. Once everything was named they made a menu for my husband so each night he got to choose based on the names they came up with.
@KES: That is such a cute thing your friends did for you! And I'm sure your husband loved it!
Ooh! I hadnt thought of our HM really yet, but I like the lingerie idea so thanks ladies. Although we will be gone 2 weeks so I dont know if I want to spend the $ or the space on one for every night, but definitely several.
Do you know those old fortune teller things people made out of paper in grade school? You could make one of those and put fun sexual things to do inside the flaps. Like kiss a spot, remove a piece of clothing, massage with oil... whatever.
WOW I too hadn't thought this far ahead yet but these are great ideas! My FI also *loves* lingerie and I almost never wear it at home - this idea has his name alll over it. :)
I got some thigh high stockings because I read somewhere that it's one of the sexiest items of clothing to "leave on"
Get a brazilian bikini wax? I know it's a little bit cliche, but it's pretty exciting and new, if you've never done it before. And again, sticking with being cliche: guys do love it. But being on vacation, alone together in a beautiful place helps too!

Honestly, just being on our honeymoon was all we needed. I had some cute lingerie but only used it I think once...

My man and I live together pretty much just like a married couple...and like a lot of you all, I'm sure.
This poses a tiny problem...how to make the honeymoon sexy and exciting when your sex life has already had time to become predictable.
Any ideas for spicing it up to make the honeymoon a little hotter?
