I have 2 problems. I was wondering if you know where I could find turquiose bridesmaids dresses? I am going for the bright blue turquiose and not the more teal color. But I haven't been able to find the right color.
Also, if I find turquiose dresses, what kind/color of flower should i go with? I thought about a watermelon pink color, but will that be too pink and blue together? I also tossed around white flowers for the maides and use the same white flowers for my bouquet but dip them with a turquiose color.
I am not afraid of bright, bold colors. I would rather have a "fun" wedding versus "vintage/elegant".
We're having a beach wedding in October and our colors are aqua/chocolate and tan. I found my dresses at Ariadress.com. I chose the aqua, which matches tiffany blue perfectly, but they also have a turquoise, which is bit more blue and brighter. Also, they have a ton of cute choices. My girls all picked the same sweetheart neck knee length.
We're using mostly white flowers with hot pink accents. A lot of orchids and lillies, but we're also at the beach.
I love the color, but it was hard to match flowers, so I would stick with mainly white, and whatever accent you like- orange and yellow also look very pretty.
Turquoise seems like a hard color to match flowers to and I felt that way too, but don't psyche yourself out. Any whites, pinks, reds, chocolates, greens, oranges or even purples will go great with turquoise so that opens up a lot of options for you.
Oh yeah, the dresses came from David's Bridal and the colors were Pool, Aruba and Oasis. Aria was my first choice but because of sizing issues, we had to nix that. I have been to their store and seen their colors in person, and they're very rich and beautiful. Definately ask them to send you samples of the colors you are interested in.
We had a more aqua blue color for our BM dresses from jenny yoo. Our color scheme was bright cherry red and aqua blue, with poppy orange accents, so the red/orange flowers looked fantastic against the blue dresses. Very colorful and very fun and modern!
I personally love the pop of warm colors with turqouise - reds, pinks, oranges and even some yellows. Turquoise has become one of those great "almost neutral" colors for weddings (i.e. it goes with almost anything.) Good luck! :)
I just got married and I paired my girls turquoise dresses with green orchids. heres a picture if it helps you out to visualize.. good luck with your decision!
I looooove complementary colours, so ORANGE would be the way to go for me. However, if that's too much of a contrast, then go for fuchsia / bright pink. Yum.
I'm having them do bouquets of white daisies (not gerbera, just your classic daisy) and yellow roses. The pop of yellow actually looks really good with the color! We're having a garden wedding, I didn't want to use flowers not in the garden b/c I though it would look out of place.
Definitely go with either orange flowers (like calla lilies, dahlias, or ever roses!) or a deep red. There are inspiration boards on snippet and ink with great color combos.

I also like turqouise much more than teal!
