1. Breathe.

2.  Call the tux shop.  Nicely explain that the tuxes aren’t what you were expecting, and ask if anything can be done to rush replacements (even just for the pants).

3. Call an alternate rental place, and ask if they can do a rush order (as a backup option).

It will all be fine.  Honestly.  Even if they all wore suits because they had no pants at all, at the end of the day you’d be married to the man you love.

Men’s Warehouse can get things in the next day.  With a hefty fee, I’m sure.

@chippybee:  Don’t delay any longer just because the guy is a friend of your Dad’s. He may have had nothing to do with your order. Maybe another employee processed the order, failed to check the condition of the tuxes they were sent etc.

Phone them right away to tell them what the problems are , then make an appointment for this afternoon to take the tuxes back to the store and ask what they plan to do to make it right.

Tux issues are actually pretty common. I’m not saying that to make you feel better, but to try to say that tux shops often have to make last minute adjustments or replacements. Definitely call the tux shop as soon as you’ve calmed down a bit, and let them know exactly what needs to be fixed and by when.

Apparently our guys had all kinds of issues with their tuxes on the day before the wedding. Bless their hearts — no one told me about the problems because they didn’t want to stress me out. But they got in contact with the shop, got the problems fixed, and were all looking great by the afternoon of our wedding, and I was none the wiser till my husband filled me in later.

You need to call/go to the tux shop immediately.  They will have to remedy this.  My BILs tux was the wrong size – which he found out the afternoon before my wedding – and they overnighted new pants to him, as well as found a “back up” pair in case the overnighted ones didn’t get there in time.  I also *successfully* demanded the $ back for his tux, and that he not pay the overnight shipping charges which they originally told him he would have to pay for.

Don’t worry. A reputable tuxedo-rental company generally can fix problems within 24 hours.  I would call them immediately to let them know of the situation you’ve encountered with your order.

@chippybee:  I assure you it will be okay no matter what the outcome!  If you can’t get the Ralph Lauren tuxes you ordered and paid for, I’d definitely be requesting some $ back. That’s just not right.
