My girls are going to be wearing gray bridesmaid dresses with red flowers and shoes, and I’m at a loss as to what to put the groomsmen in. My wedding has a vintage-y theme, and I don’t really like the look of a traditional black tux. I’m open to ideas for suits or tuxes. Anybody have some pictures/inspiration about what my wedding party could look like?

- Wedding: March 2012 - Pelican Grand Beach Resort
I’d probably put them men in suit pants with a full vest and shirts with the sleeves rolled to the elbow and either ties or bowties.

Grey pants, white shirt, suspenders or a vest with red accents. Our groomsmen gifts are pocket watches for them to wear with their vests.

- Wedding: October 2014 - Church
Or dress pants with dress shirts rolled up and suspenders.

I’m with some of the PP. My girls are wearing yellow dresses (except for MOH who is wearing a grey dress with a yellow sash). We decided on the GM wearing grey suit pants, white shirt, and a grey vest with a yellow tie….and yellow converse sneakers 😛 they will be rolling their shirt sleeves up to their elbows also.

What degree of formality is your wedding? Are the gilrs going to be in short dresses with a casual fabric? short dresses with a more legant fabric? or long dresses? That can influence your decision.

Maybe latte colored suits
I also love the checkered pattern of the vest below!
or maybe even a darker grey and some fun red socks!
possibly a fun bowtie
Maybe a mix of grays with bowties, suspenders

@julies1949: It’s going to be in a Catholic church so that ups the formality some, but it’s not an overly formal wedding. My girls are going to be in short dresses (not sure on the fabric because I want to look at swatches that match the gray I have in mind). I really want a fun, vintage feel

@agrinste1: I suggest grey dress pants, white shirts, and a collection of different grey vintage style vests like this wedding which was in brown.
