Not married yet but I have had some Bridezilla moments planning the wedding. The frustrating thing is that they come in short bursts after I have been keeping my emotions bottled in for weeks.

My fiance and I were discussing details for our engagement party and we got into an argument over which city it should be in since we have family spread out. Needless to say I did not take the argument well and I thought that the best way I could defend my point was by crying and half begging my fiance not to have the party in the city he wanted. I don’t really know why I reacted that way, I just did. Now when I think about it, it’s super embarrassing and my fiance likes to bring it up when I get too out of control with the planning.

Also the day before said party, I was getting ready in the house and there were lots of small children running around and being awful. The party was “no children” and there were some crying 6 year olds because they weren’t invited. Some family friends that actually had invited themselves to the party came up to me and slyly asked me if the children were invited even though she knew that there was no kids. I was running late, super stressed out and so I answered her question by screaming “NO”.

I tried to watch that show once and couldn’t handle the screaming. I’ve been making FI participate in the planning by offering him options on each decision. He told me tonight he’s getting payback by making me help him create a new Warhammer 40K army list *sigh* at least all I have to do is pick which model is coolest.
