And all through the town
every creature was shopping
and running around
invading the aisles
and elbowing their way through
This chick just wants milk..
Whats a girl to do?
Anyone eagerly awaiting normal paced grocery stores again? And rational level headed people in parking lots. I’m done all my Christmas shopping but a person still had to do things and the lines and crowds are just bonkers. Plus everyone is so grumpy.
I’m excited to enjoy the festivities and then just chill for another year 😉

I really should remember to stock up a month before Christmas on groceries.

I went today to pick up last minute fresh veggies for a relish tray and it was HORRID. So many rude people, I got in and out as fast as possible.

Things aren’t so crazy here. I am glad! Just smiling faces and lots of “merry christmases!” I don’t know if it would be the case tomorrow though 😉

I bought a last minute gift… I went to wrap it and they left a security tag on it. A big honkin’ black security tag. (Clearly their system is working great) Soooo I get to venture back out tomorrow to have this thing removed from said gift. -_- Siiiiiigh. I do not want to go out there again.

I live just around the corner from a major mall, and traffic is HORRIBLE. I can’t get anywhere easily because it is so backed up to turn onto the main road to get to the mall. Why would anyone resort to last minute shopping? It’s insane.
I remember around Thanksgiving I desperately needed milk and paper towels, and I deeply regreted not stocking up beforehand because the grocery store was not kind to me! I feel ya, OP!

@HappySky7: There are about a million quick and easy ways to remove those things at home. Just Google it. Also, I am not a thief. My father was a police officer and always joked about the security tag nonsense. Likewise, I can remove a padlock in a 2.5 seconds.

@aliavenue: I did. I am worried I’m going to ruin the garment trying these methods. :/

@HappySky7: Okey dokey. Just thought I’d mention it 🙂

I sent my husband for groceries yesterday so I didn’t have any experiences with the crush of people! I love Christmas but I can’t wait until stores are back to normal!
