I dont think there is anything wrong with it at all! Its YOUR wedding and if it means something to the both of you, then do it! Plus, I don't think people will realize its from Twilight haha.

So naturally I googled it, and out of general curisoity started flicking through the results. it took me about half an hour to realise what am I doing, i've never even read twilight or seen the movies. LOL!!

I'm having a fire themed wedding, not a huge theme really. But we will be having a fire appliance as our transport and the cake topper will be fire fighters. We are also still thinking of being married in our turn out gear instead of traditional wedding attire (but we havent fully decided that yet). People have told me it goes to prove I'm a pyro and have no life. But I'm not a pyro, I don't light fires, I put them out. We decided to include it because it is what brought us together. Without the fire brigade we would not have met, and i would not have my family and our children (which is my life) so why not honour that in our wedding!!!

So I know some people will scoff at me for this, but I really want to include a passage from Stephenie Meyer's Twilight (or any of the other three books in the series) as one of my ceremony readings. The book -- and the series as a whole -- means a lot to both my fiance and I, and I just figured it would be really awesome to allude to that in our wedding. (As an aside -- yes, I realise that it's not Pulitzer material, and I don't care; it's a wonderful story, and it expresses a lot of what my fiance and I feel in our relationship.)
My question for the hive is this: do any of you superb individuals have any ideas for passages we could use as readings? I'm re-reading the entire series for the third or fourth time (currently on Twilight) for the purpose of trying to find some, but I was hoping you bees might have some ideas, too!
