I’m engaged! Just happened last week when my (then) boyfriend and I went to the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. I was there to present a research paper and it turned out to be the perfect trip.
Anyways, he got me a beautiful princess cut white gold ring on a twist setting. Before I sent it off to get resized, we tried on some wedding bands at Zales…
Nothing fits quite right with the twist setting!
Anyone else have a twist setting and can share with me what you did with the wedding band? Did you get it custom made? Where did you get it from?
Enjoy the picture…I don’t have it from the side but I hope you know what I mean by twist setting!

I don’t have a twist ring, but I think a wedding band that “mimics” the curve of your band would look really nice. Don’t try to find something that fits flush with the engagement ring, but rather get a w-ring that complements it, like this one:
Personally, I don’t like rings that are custom made to curve around a unique e-ring setting, because then it looks a bit awkward if you just want to wear your wedding band alone.

I dont have a picture of mine on this computer, but it was part of a set, so the wedding band molds into it. If yours isnt part of a set, try looking at ones that are maybe that are similar shape to your ring? You might be able to find one or get one custom made.

i love these suggestions also! I also want a wedding band that can “stand alone” and is somewhat unique but not over the top.
Did you try this one from Zales?
