Hello Bees! So I have this idea in my head that I can’t get away from that I would LOVE to have a diamond band as my engagement ring with a plain white gold band as my wedding ring. I dont like stones that stick out off the ring and snag. I currently and a 1tcw three stone engagement ring that I love, but would consider upgrading to a nice band in the future. But I was just wondering if any of you bees have this, or maybe you are married and you wear your anniversary band and wedding band together? I would love to see pics if you do! Thanks!

I love the look of diamond bands next to plain bands! I don’t have a set like that myself, but here are some pictures I found that will hopefully give you an idea of the look!
Jessica Simpson wore an eternity band with a plain band sometimes when she was married to Nick Whateverhisnameis.
Here’s another beautiful set that I found on Pricescope. Love the mixed metals.
And here’s a five stone band with a plain band that I also found on Pricescope
Hope that helps!

@bourkelton: I love this look as well. I’ve fallen in love with this picture of Ashley Tisdales rings I think it looks beautiful and I’d love to have these for my right hand. My wedding ring has diamonds on it, it’s a cross between diamond and plain to me. I sometimes wear the eternity ring I got for my 30th next to it. Hubby has promised he will one day buy me the Tiffany channel set. I’ve tried it on with my wedding ring and I love it!
Ps. Be sure not to confuse these pictures. Ashley Tisdales is just the hand shot and I’m the blonde.

@SunflowerGarden: I LOVE this look. IMO it screams class. It’s so understated but at the same time I never fail to notice a woman wearing her W ring with a quality stoned band.

@MsKaren: LMAO at your last comment. I didn’t doubt for a second! Ashley Tisdale’s set up is gorgeous, do you think that wide band is a pave set diamond band or a plain matte metal band? It seems to be just glowing prettily. Looks like she has another nice band on the other hand, lucky B! I love your bands as well!! I see you are recently married, congratulations!!! 🙂
@SunflowerGarden: That is EXACTLY what I’m talking about. Thank you so much! It’s hard to even know what search terms to enter ya know! I think those diamonds would look to big on me but that is exactly how I imagine them.
@nocleverbeepun: I feel the same way! P.S. Do you live Vegas or just getting hitched there? I am from Vegas 🙂

@MsKaren: Nevermind my previous question about Ashleys rings – I pulled this off the DailyMail site: “One ring featured diamonds which went all the way around, while the other was a plain band that was perhaps turned around to hide a giant diamond from the cameras. “

@bourkelton: I think it’s an awesome idea– it’s what always wanted.
I just wanted two bands. I did end up with a .5 carat bezel set engagement ring though (but I would have been TOTALLY cool with an awesome band!

@MrsEME: The first engagement ring we bought was a small black & white diamond pave set band that sparked like crazy but was SO thin. And then it started losing diamonds TWO DAYS after we bought it. I ended up returning it and getting a “three stone” cluster ring, THEN returned that one for a regular three stone! lol! I guess you can say I’m susceptible to ring regret 😉

bourkelton: I think it’s a great idea… but that’s probably because that’s what I’ve decided on! I don’t wear much jewelry… aside from small plain silver hoops in my ears I didn’t wear any other jewelry until I got engaged. I chose the ring he proposed with – it’s a white gold band, with channel set round diamonds. I don’t feel awkward or uncomfortable wearing it, yet it is so pretty – it sparkles so well! I think I will pair it up with a plain white gold wedding band… and eventually maybe I will get an anniversary band to complete the stack!

bourkelton: TOTALLY love this look. I agree with PP – for some reason it looks extra classy imo. I have a friend who wears a mid-size 7 stone ring (her e-ring) in between two skinny pave bands (wedding bands, like 1.5 mm each). Her hand just looks like a blur of firey sparkle!!! Haha. And, I am certain all THREE rings cost less together than one mid size solitiare!

I love this look, hands down. And it’s so timeless that you could be any age and the tow bands will still look fantastic. Best look ever.

I went on a field trip with my daughter’s class a few days ago and wore just two of my bands together, instead of the ERing part of my set. I ended up loving the look of it, although it took me a couple days to get a picture. (Which isn’t the best quality — bad lighting. >.O)

I know this thread is old but it made me fall in love with the double band look MsKaren: posted. I’m testing it with a berrible eternity I bought last year.. I’m too fickle to take the plunge yet!
