Just bring inspiration pictures and really enjoy eating all the samples 🙂

If there’s one part of wedding planning I wish I could do again, it’s tasting cake 🙂 And I’m not even a cake person. It’s just really fun.

oooh, this is one meeting that I am looking forward to! Our cake tasting is at the end of the month. Maybe you can ask them for a list or print out of the pricing, flavors and fillings to take home? I also agree to bring inspiration pictures and have fun tasting cake:)

Definitely talk to the baker about what type of icing they are most comfortable working with.  I went to two cake tasting and at each I viewed pictures of the baker’s work.  One was clearly more familiar working with fondant and the other with buttercream icing.  I don’t like fondant, so when I saw that the one baker basically dealt exclusively with fondant, I decided to use the other baker (and the other cake tasted better too).

Have fun!!
