Two Different Petticoats? (One For Ceremony & One For Reception?)

I am not sure what size petticoat I want under my dress, I want my dress "poufy" for the ceremony, but maybe a little "smaller" for the reception (it gets difficult walking around.)

I tried my dress on three different times, the first pictures are without out anything under the dress,

Two Different Petticoats? (One For Ceremony & One For Reception?) : wedding petticoat help switch change two reception ceremony dress No Petticoat

    then the Fit-n-Flare/Trumpet Petticoat,

Two Different Petticoats? (One For Ceremony & One For Reception?) : wedding petticoat help switch change two reception ceremony dress Fit N Flare Trumpet Petticoat

    Full Petticoat

Two Different Petticoats? (One For Ceremony & One For Reception?) : wedding petticoat help switch change two reception ceremony dress Large Full Petticoat

And yes, (in some of the pictures) the dress is pinned half-way on the front two pleats, I am having those "closed" half-way when I get my dress altered. So it will look similar to that, but not so defined. If that makes any sense at all.

My main question is would it be weird/too much trouble to switch petticoats after the ceremony? I mean a lot of girls switch dresses, right? I just want my dress to be easier to walk around in during our reception.

If you change your petticoat, you will have to change your shoes too because with less poof, there will be a height difference. And depending on how your day goes, you may not have time to change.

@noritake22: That is a good point. And I guess changing shoes into something taller would kind of defeat the purpose of trying to make it easier to walk around the reception.

@soontobeMrsEschberger: I am trying to make the same decision! I have a medium ball-gown petticoat for the ceremony and want to take it off for the reception, but then it changes the length of my dress and I'm 100% attached to my hot pink peep toe pumps and do not want to change shoes! Hmm.. decisions, decisions!

@NJForever: This is a very frustrating decision! Have you had your dress altered yet? (I am planning on wearing pink heels too! Lol.)
