Is anyone else getting excited/nervous/fidgety? These two months are going to FLY by!
What all do you still have left to do?

YAY!! Officially 5 weeks as of tomorrow for us!
We just have to print our menu, programs, signage, game cards (we have a really unique hotel and are having a scavenger hunt for the wedding weekend), and prize coupons (a cupcake)
Write the ceremony
Purchase gifts for parents (the HARDEST THING EVER. I can’t think of anything meaningful but not useless)
Book the rehersal dinner
That’s it! We’re pretty much done!
AND I CAN’T WAIT!!!!

britty: I am SO excited. I can’t wait 😀 however I do wish I had more time. I put on a bit of weight and although I can get my dress on… my goodness it is tight! I need to lose a bit between now and the 30th of August so I am having nightmares about that.

Peach.Candy: Don’t know if you have a strapless dress but I do and my seamstress seems to think the tighter the better! My cousin also lost too much weight but there wasn’t time to alter her dress so she had to gain it back the last two weeks before her wedding!

britty: I am really excited too!!!! 8 weeks away and less than 2 months!!! Yayyyyyy!!!!!
We’re working on our rsvps, which are due 3 weeks from now
After we finish those we’ll order favors and programs
Got to finish getting gifts for the wedding party and still figuring out a gift for FI… his gift to me is my wedding jewelry, which I picked out and he paid for but hasn’t seen! I love it it’s so perfect! Just came in the mail yesterday! This is it, I chose gold tone and ivory pearl: https://www.etsy.com/listing/128829580/grace-bridal-necklace-wedding-jewelry?ref=shop_home_active_4&ga_search_query=grace
We need to finalize the ceremony with rabbi, also make welcome bags for guests staying at the hotel, make the rehearsal invites (I decided to diy them since there’s only about 18 of them… Hope I can handle it!), finalize flowers, make a seating plan and placecards, oh it goes on and on. Fun stuff!!!

I have the same wedding date as you and I am absolutely freaking out haha

britty: yep! I keep having the same nightmare where it’s the day of the wedding and we haven’t done anything. It’s very annoying. It’s slightly varied each time I have it, but same theme – not being prepared!

I’m going craaaazy! We sent out our invites last week and I keep getting messages and texts from people saying they got them and instead of feeling happy/excited I just keep getting this little feeling of panic that this means it’s really happening SOON! And I still feel like I have so much to do! Not to mention that I had really wanted to lose some weight before the wedding and have completely neglected to put any effort into that. I hope two months is enough to at least make a bit of progress! But I’m sad I’m not going to be the fit goddess I had dreamed of 😛

This weekend will make it 7 weeks until our wedding & we still have so much to do.
-Buy wedding favors, contact organist for the church, buy FI’s gift, buy GM & bridesmaids’ gifts, & purchase last minute decoration items.
We still haven’t figured out transportation for the day of! I’m sure there is more that I am forgetting. We are getting close!!

JackiBean: did you decide on your parents’ gifts? I also can’t think of anything : (. I was thinking of bookends for this shelf my dad built that holds all of my mom’s photo albums. But is that meaningful enough? Don’t know!

We finally figured out what to do for my parents! My sister told me they’ve always wanted to go to a tea and chocolate tasting that a tea house does by their house. So that’s done!
His parents, we have NO idea. We asked his sister (who got married 5 years ago) and she said they got them $100 restaurant gift card. They still haven’t used it.
I think finding book ends that have significance would be a REALLY sweet idea! Like if your dad likes baseball and you got him bookends that were made out of two significant pieces of baseball memorabilia?
How much longer until your wedding?
