all I can say is I LOVE my enhanced moisy 1.5c round.

Have you ever been to the boards at betterthandiamond? There is a whole section for moissanite, and there are tons of posts with comparision pictures and I know they can answer your questions at least better than I can!

Let me just say: nothing about moissanite looks plastic. I have a 1 ct. unenhanced, and I have no complaints. If you have a very good eye for color, you might want to get an enhanced moissanite. I rarely notice any color in the stone– occasionally on a cloudy day while in the car or something, it looks a little “darker”, i.e. not reflecting as much light, but for me it’s a non-issue.

Welcome back!

If you’re going for a radiant you definitely want to get it enhanced, that cut shows a lot of color in a moissanite. Pretty much anything besides a <1 ct round brilliant, I would get it enhanced.

I have a 1.5 ct unenhanced round moissy, and I absolutely love it. It definitely shows some color sometimes (kind of a yellow or green) but I like to think of it as a “mood” ring, it’s so amazingly beautiful and different! I’m also not trying to pass my stone as a diamond, I love the fact that it’s a moissy, so I didn’t want mine to look so similar. Here are some photos:

I was on my phone earlier… here are some pictures of radiants (enhanced vs. unenhanced). Obviously the yellow-y ones are unenhanced.  In the first picture, the outermost stones are unenhanced.
