DO any of you bees have advice about:

Beaches resorts for a honeymoon, especially in Turks and Caicos?

    and

having a honeymoon in Turks and Caicos?

    Thanks!

Hey my mom and StepDad went to Turks and Caicos and they loved it.  It's been two years and mom still talks about it.  We've been to Hawaii, Cozumel, Paris, Bahammas and all over the US and she talks more about that trip then the others.  The only draw back that she said was it took a long time to travel there we are in Houston.  My stepdad and his son/wife and two little kids went on the trip too and it was hard on them with the kids.  So I would think adults would be fine.

we are looking at the Sandals at St. Lucia.

I wanted to have our honeymoon there! I'm hoping we can do a 1st anniversary thing or something instead. The only thing about Beaches is that it's really geared towards familes as opposed to couples so there will be kids around. There is one other all inclusive called Club Med, but I've heard the rooms are smaller (and no elevators), and the food isn't very good. If I had to choose, I'd take Beaches despite the kids even though it was initially a turn off when I first started looking.

It looks like you're from NY though, so your flight won't be as bad as vintage's parents'. Some flights have a stop over in VA, but there's a few nonstop flights as well (costs a bit more, but worth it imo) and it will take about 3 1/2 hours tops.
