I’ve never heard of anyone doing it, but I guess it makes sense. Cos you never know what might happen!

But then there’s not really a point in just the groom having an ‘in case’ shirt when there are are other groomsmen.

But it’s actually a good idea, come to think of it, having an extra shirt on hand in case one of the groomsmen makes a mess of his. Assuming they are all wearing the same shirt, that is.

I dunno if it’s common, OP, but like BerryBerry said, it could be a good idea.
