Is anyone else hating the TWW (Time in between ovulation and your period or not getting your period bc you might be pregnant)? I'm so impatient I took a test today even though I knew it was too early. (It came up negative - hoping it was wrong!)
yes, that was awful! the first month we were trying of course i convinced myself i was pregnant and i wasn't, so the next month i made sure to wait a little bit and told myself i wasn't just so i could stop freaking out. i still tested a few days early with tests that say you can, and it was positive!
YES!!! I completely know what you are talking about! It KILLS me every month!
I took another test 10 days PO and it was negative...wondering if it was too soon. Period isn't do until the 12th so i should have know better. i hate the TWW!!!!!

I got a negative at 10 DPO and a positive at 12 DPO. Don't be too disappointed until you are sure.
Yes, the waiting time is annoying. :) I will be testing this weekend, which is about 12 DPO. My only symptom has been major crabbiness, but I think that is the heat!! Good luck to you!
Tomorrow will be 13 DPO so I am going to test tomorrow morning and see how that goes. The waiting for my period or a postive is killing me!!!
Negative test this morning :( I know its only the 1st month of TTC and it may have been too early to even test, but it's still frustrating me, especially when you hear about all these women who got pregnant the 1st month of trying.
I think a poll on here at one point showed 70% got pregnant within the first 2 months. That should give you some hope, but I know it is disappointing when you find that you are ready. Also, don't count this month out until you get your period.
I agree with Aquarius. Don't rule it out yet. The longer you chart the better you can pinpoint when the ideal time to ttc. Good luck!

Yeah, last month Mr. SD and I officially TTC, and super-mega fail. I convinced myself that I had all the symptoms, nausea, bad sleep patterns, enlarged breasts, yada yada. Turns out I was just extremely stressed out due to work and getting used to a period off the pill. This week is ovulation week, keeping our fingers crossed! I ordered a bunch of those pregnancy strips online, 30 for $24, and hope I can take them like, every two days to make the 2WW more bearable. Here's for that 70%!

Well...its a no for me this month. My husband told me that I need to stop feeling so upset because it was only the 1st month for us. I am going to try my best and just look forward to trying again this month. :)
I had a very faint 2nd line this morning when I tested. I got a higher quality test today and will test tomorrow and see what it says.
nypabride, it is okay to be disappointed. I think it is natural. Yes, enjoy the trying! Are you charting?
So I am 5 days DPO and the wait is absolutely killing me. I dont know if i'm psyching myself out and trying to make my body think I am pregnant. But I have NEVER been so tired before. Since Monday I have been exhausted.
I think it's just because I want a baby so badly. We started trying the month leading up to our wedding and no luck. Now this time we paid close attention, took ovulation tests to find out when I was ovulating and did on jul. 9th. started trying everyday since july7th until July 11th. So.....Heres to teh LONG wait!!!!
I think I am 2 DPO now. I realized I had my ovulation day wrong for the past few months, so I am excited that this time we did it right!

Looks like my pcos is messing things up again. I would have thought I was only 5 dpo today, but my temp dropped pretty drastically and I am spotting. Ah well, better luck next month!

Any news from anyone else? It's our second month TTC and the wait is awful. It seems much worse this month than last month!
@AshCo - I keep wondering if I'm doing the same thing! The "girls" always get a little sore mid-cycle, but they've been sore since then this time. It hurts to bump into them, rollover in bed, etc., but I keep wondering if it's always like that and I'm just super intune with it right now.

I'm 10DPO and I'm too nervous for a neg. totest today. So i didn't this morning. I will wait another day...or more....
I'm only 7 DPO. Or maybe 6. I'm not charting (we're not there yet) but I did have some Mittelschmerz this time that would have been a day after the scheduled O day. At any rate, I'm waiting until it's a reasonable time to test.
I tested this morning at 11DPO and it came up BFN. Is there still hope this cycle?!?!1
Yes! I only tested before my missed period once (had a big party that night), and it was about 10 DPO. Negative. Waited another week, 3 days passed missed period to test again, Pregnant!! Personally I was a big proponent of not testing too much too early - too much stress and anxiety that way.....
Thanks Janna19. That helps. NO MORE TESTING until the awful AF is due. And hopefully missed. :-)
so the hubs got mad today.. i told him i wanted to get and ovulation kit, and he says ' i was hoping we could just try every day, or every other day!' lol, i love him <3
TWW here too. 6 dpo.
second month with the wait time, and the not knowing is driving me crazy. If (and it most likely will) this takes time I don't know how I'll deal with 2 weeks of this each month!
my first tww starts this week.. haven't pinpointed ovualtion but i'm guessing it'll be this week!! i can't wait!!
I'm 11 DPO and it is so hard to wait to test - but I'm not letting myself test until at least 13 DPO. Anyone else in the 2WW for this cycle?
Me! Well, maybe....Eh, who knows with my crazy cycle! Day 22 here, but my temp has not gone up yet. I really just don't think I am ovulating. Thank goodness we are seeing a specialist on Monday!

My TWW started yesterday! This is our first cycle of TTC where I have ovulated. I had to take 2 rounds of Clomid to get here. Hopefully it works!

you think the tww is hard?? try not even ovulating!! i hate my body lately!! i thought i was in the tww for 9 days before i figured out i didn't even ovulate! booo... cd 40 and still nothing has happened.. hope eveyone else is having better luck!
Omg. I totally hate this. I'm not 12 days late. Took preg test 2 days ago and it was neg. Don't know what's going on but I'll test again in a few more days and if neg..I'm going to go see my doc.
@msmonicka: Is anything else going on that could be making you late? I was 15 days late the month after our wedding because of all the stress and travel.
I'm in the tww too and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I can't think of anything else that could be making me this late. I'm totally relaxed. 12 days!! Almost 13 now. It's so frustrating!!
