I don’t know if this will really help but I had a bad stomach flu when I was seven weeks pregnant, and ended up in the hospital and given lots of drugs. Baby looks fine and healthy in there still! Just make sure you tell the dr you’re ttc before you are treated.

I may be wrong but you and baby would not be sharing a blood supply at this point so I think you are safe to take it (?)

I don’t have much info, but I do know a high temperature (over 101) during pregnancy can lead to complications… Not trying to scare you, because it could also be fine, but that’s just what I’ve read.

@jjmomma:  If you cant wait to hear back from you doctor, i know some doctors take forever to get back to their patients, try asking the pharmacyst or even when you get your prescription they usually have a number there for questions, try calling that number, they might be able to help you or if anything hold off on taking anything until you hear back from your md.  Good luck

I think that there’s really nothing that you can do beside follow instructions from your doctor, take the medication, and cross your fingers. Statistically speaking, and not to be a downer, but you have only a 20-30 percent chance of being pregnant and a very small chance of complications if you are pregnant. And complications don’t necessarily lead to pregnancy loss. I was pretty pissed to get a stomach flu at such a sensitive time for baby’s development and a time when I was so sick with morning sickness already, but there was just absolutely nothing at all that I  could  do about it besides hope for the best. Good luck to you!

@jjmomma:  Agreed with @MsKeee:… Plus, if it’s too early to detect pregnancy, then you probably aren’t damaging anything by taking medications as you aren’t sharing a blood supply yet. Several women have gotten sick in their early pregnancy and in the TWW and still conceived, I think Jaguar was one of them!
