@mrspinesol:  I have a small one on my wrist and I struggled a lot with placement because, like you, I wanted it to be visible but I also wanted to be able to easily cover it up. I’ve had it for over 6 years with no regrets about the placement at all. I would love to get another one but I’m not sure where I would get it.

@MrsBeck:  just curious……do you have to wear a watch everyday to cover it up? Id love a wrist tattoo but I don’t like watches ha!

I have one just below my elbow, which is nice because I can wear long or 3/4 sleeves or a cardigan or whatever if I need to cover it, but it’s visible when I want it to be. I’d be leery of trying to cover a wrist tattoo with a watch because if you wear it all the time it can actually rub and cause the tattoo to fade. SImilar to how foot tattoos often need retouching more than others. Other ideas for placement would be back of your neck if you have long hair, below your collarbone, maybe behind your ear.

@mrspinesol:

As far as placement goes, have you thought about the inside of your bicep? I think the small ones look really cool there. I’m not sure my description is very good, so here’s a pic of Carlton, one of the ladies on RHOBH and she has the placement I’m thinking of.

@wrkbrk:  I work in a professional environment but they are rather relaxed so I usually don’t even have to cover it up. When we do meet with clients I either wear long sleeves or some kind of piece of jewelry (large bangle or watch).

Note: For bonus typewriter points, not all letters should perfectly line up. And if one letter is slightly raised or lowered, all instances of that letter should be slightly raised or lowered in the same way.
