So I'm trying to order extra fabric to match my dress so I can do some alterations. I can't find anything locally that matches well enough. So I call a couple of bridal places to see if it's possible to order from the manufacturer.

The first one says "Oh it's $30/yard and it will take about 3mos to get in". They didn't even ask me what I was looking for but I knew that $30/yard is a huge markup plus why would it ever take 3 mos to get a cut of fabric?!

The second place says $20/yard (still a markup - it should be about $15 but I'm willing to pay extra for an exact match) and he promises to call and make sure it's in and can be shipped right away.

I hate how some places just think they can just rip people off!

Oh girl I totally feel you! We are dealing with a shady VENUE! I'm ready to call it quits with them and hopefully will by Friday if the stars and planets and sun align properly and the pig grows wings and the cow decides at just the right time to start jumping over the moon..... lol. At least that's how I feel ha! Good luck with the fabric!
