So I moved into Queens last April and made updates to my work address. Get my w2 back, and little do I realize that NYC is one of the few cities that have an income tax and now I owe almost 2k in taxes to the city! Payroll never updated this for me, nor did I know to look for this because I have always lived in NJ. UGGG. We have the money to pay for it plus the wedding stuff, it's just the principle of the thing. Because payroll messed up, I have this unexpected cost. Sorry, thanks for hearing my vent.
