So, let me preface this by saying that I am an emotional eater.  With that said, I have been 'snacking' a lot lately, but it was mainly due to the fact that my brother passed away in June.  We are getting married in November.  So, I tried on the dress yesterday just to see if it even still fit.  It did, but it was rather tight around the ribs.  So, I have approximately a month until I have to go for a fitting, so needless to say, I am starting to SERIOUSLY cut out everything.  I'm eating salad for lunch and dinner, mixed in with a protein of some sort like chicken (not a lot, smaller than the size of my palm, basically).  I'm drinking water like crazy and I'm doing some exercising, but not going crazy with it.  Months ago, I had gone nuts doing the shred every night or every other night and totally messed up my shins and knees.  I"m still recovering from that.  I just wanted to know if anyone else was in the same type of predicament where the dress is a little too tight for comfort?

Awww, sorry you are going through this!  I'm very sorry about the loss of your brother as well, I'm sure this is a very difficult time for you.  Just remember, everything in moderation.  If you try to cut out all of the stuff you love all together you're MUCH more likely to go crazy some night and binge.  Weight loss is 90% diet, so by watching what you eat, you should be just fine.

    Good luck and (((hugs))).

I'm so sorry about your loss.  Emotional eating is a natural reaction.  With that being said, you still have time to fit comfortably in your dress.  Have you tried swimming as a way to exercise without putting stress on your knees?  It's a good way to tone also.  As for your diet, I agree with SanDiegoAli - just make sure you moderate.  Good luck!
