I'm planning on hand addressing... but it should only be about 70 invites. I have the envelopes now, and a fairly set guest list for a July wedding, so I figure it will be fine if I just did like 10 any time the mood strikes me.
@Goldilocks: Wedding etiquette is lame. I say just go with whatever suits your taste and what will allow you to maintain your sanity!
@Sapphire: same here. I have 150 invites but I plan to do a few every now and then while I'm watching TV or on the phone of something :-)
I agree with the ettiquette thing, most people don't even know about it.
Im doing mine on the computer and running it through the printer.. Because seriously There is no way im handwriting 150 invites. And my handwriting sucks! also i found some great handwriting fonts, and I could almost get away with it :)

Today I put the return address on the invite envelopes and the address on the RSVP envelopes (both labels). And it SUCKED! Really, over an hour to put stickers on paper?!? And I still have the STD and invite addresses to do. All this has succeeded in doing is convince me that address labels are totally the way to go. I think I would have a serious meltdown (hand cramping, finger twitching, mind-rebelling meltdown) if I had to hand address 150 invitations and STDs.
So, kudos to the ladies out there who are following "etiquette" (pardon the quotes, but I don't necessarily agree with all wedding etiquette standards that are out there). I couldn't do it and maintain a "sane Bride" attitude.
