Today I put the return address on the invite envelopes and the address on the RSVP envelopes (both labels). And it SUCKED! Really, over an hour to put stickers on paper?!? And I still have the STD and invite addresses to do. All this has succeeded in doing is convince me that address labels are totally the way to go. I think I would have a serious meltdown (hand cramping, finger twitching, mind-rebelling meltdown) if I had to hand address 150 invitations and Save-The-Date Cards.
So, kudos to the ladies out there who are following “etiquette” (pardon the quotes, but I don’t necessarily agree with all wedding etiquette standards that are out there). I couldn’t do it and maintain a “sane Bride” attitude.

I’m planning on hand addressing… but it should only be about 70 invites. I have the envelopes now, and a fairly set guest list for a July wedding, so I figure it will be fine if I just did like 10 any time the mood strikes me.

@Goldilocks: Wedding etiquette is lame. I say just go with whatever suits your taste and what will allow you to maintain your sanity!
@Sapphire: same here. I have 150 invites but I plan to do a few every now and then while I’m watching TV or on the phone of something 🙂

I agree with the ettiquette thing, most people don’t even know about it.
