I still have problems with weddingbee redirects all the time as well. Other users have said Adblock software works for them but it never has for me when on mobile. I hope the mods will take another look at the problem.

They won’t take a look at the problem, WB earns $ every time you accidentally click on that link.

aussiemum1248 :  Our ads team works with ad networks, which means that they don’t have control over each individual ad that is created. I’m sorry this ad offended you.

MrsAtlantis :  I’m sorry you’re still having issues with redirects. Our tech team has been working very hard over the past few weeks to target the advertiser(s) at fault. They thought they had it figured out. Can you share with me any URLs or screenshots of redirects you are seeing so that I can share them with the tech team?

fwiw.. I downloaded the chrome extension “Fair AdBlocker” and I’ve been super happy with it: it replaces ads with ads you want to see (e.g. animal shelter stuff, eco stuff, basic needs development stuff, etc..) and supposedly still ends up giving money to the site you’re on, so that it helps you without hurting the bee.

I’ve also noticed, even though I don’t block pop-ups from this site, I no longer get those annoying ads that hover on top of the page and sort of force you to click on them.

Yea I may be stopping using weddingbee because of MacKeeper. I accidentally clicked on the ad and IMMEDIATELY closed it out. Well something downloaded to my computer & I can’t get rid of it. I now have MacKeeper adds popping up on my computer even when I’m not online.

Like you said, I don’t think it’s an actual virus that damages anything, but I don’t come on here to have spammy software download to my computer without my consent. I would think the mods would take that a bit more seriously.

Omg I get those too! I hate them! It doesn’t make me rant to buy anything.
