Weddingbee boards

Today was officially 1 month left until the wedding. I was having an alright day - but then left the house for 5 minutes and missed delivery of our cake topper - they will re-attempt delivery tomorrow so not the biggest loss ... 

It has been raining like crazy for the past few days - the dog likes to lay outside on the deck in the rain so I let him - he had just come in when FH came in the from garage and he ran to the front door, leaving trails of water across the floor and down the front stairs. FH had left a bag of groceries in the entryway and went downstairs to play with the dog.

I went down to the entrance to get the bag of groceries - on my way back up the stairs I slipped on the water and smashed my big toe - half the nail broke off, and I think I broke the toe (I can't but weight on it, can barely move it and it hurts like hell) - I am thinking great - possibly broken toe and lost half a toenail 1 month before my wedding ...

I am hobbling around the kitchen trying to finish dinner, when I drop the baster full of chicken drippings - it lands on the bulb part and shoots drippings all over the microwave, cabinets, and even hits the roof ...

Sigh ... I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

Well ... I was able to hobble to the mailbox which is good news, I am supposed to work nights tonight - we will see how that goes!
