It looks a little big on you. You’ll just need to have it taken in a bit so it’s more form fitting and I think it will look lovely on you. Cheer up!!

I love the dress!  I normally don’t like straps but the straps and back of this are so delicate and beautiful!  In this case, I think alterations will make a WORLD of difference in terms of how you feel about it.  From those two pics it looks like it pretty much needs to be take in all over.

You are brave to have bought online, good for you for making sure you got what you wanted!

Ooooo! I love that dress!  I’ve been eyeing it online as well, but I am also a three dress bride so I’ve got to stop myself.  I think with alterations it will look perfect.  Do you have pictures of you in the other two dresses?

Hi, I’m a new poster (been a lurker a while) and agree with the others – gorgeous dress on you, but definitely needs taking in.  When it has been, it will show off your amazing figure to perfection.  Get those 2 other dresses up for sale, to cover the cost of the alteration?  Good luck x

I love this dress! It’s beautiful on you. Yes, too big, but when it’s fitted, it will look perfect. The color is lovely.

This dress is beautiful! I love the color — a slight gold, which reminds me ofthe dress I already bought. In fact, I saw this dress on the sale section of BHLDN too when I was browsing online for reception dresses, and I have to admit I’m a little tempted to get a second dress now!

I think it looks great on you, as the other posters have said. It just needs a bit of alterations to make it fit your body more!

It’s much too big. I looked at your other post, and I think that the sleeveless dress is the most flattering.

I agree with MsW-to-MrsM:

The new one you’ve bought is a nice dress and will look better when you get it altered, but I think that the second dress in your other thread looks amazing on you.

My sense is that once you get this dress altered you will fall in love with it :). That said, you should totally keep the 2nd dress from your earlier post, it looked great on you and might be useful as a rehearsal dinner dress or after party dress.

koiocha:  the BHLDN dress is stunning! Once it’s altered to fit you like it fits the model, you will love it.
