Maybe not... he and "some other individuals" got accused of something at work and is now in meetings about it. He is terrified he is losing his job. I can't even comprehend how he could have done ANYTHING like it so I don't believe it; I'm not nervous but I'm very anxious for him!
I just want to talk about it and he asked me to not mention it to anyone, even my mom :( I know it's because he is horribly embarassed this would even be happening to him. Bursting at the seams to talk it through though

I CANT Believe it! This is utter crap! They are investigating him being gender biased?!?!? ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? He wouldn't stand a day with me if I thought he wasn't anything but polite and respectful of women. Those little twits make me want to do violent things!
Thank god he had evaluations stating why he isn't giving them opportunities... its not b/c they look like women (not that I have any idea who they are, but grown up they are NOT) but that they SUCK at their job. Well he doesn't say that but really if you don't prove your worth why do you think you would/should get the jobs that are important!
ARGH
I know this won't end up as bad as he thinks it will but the mama bear in me wants to rip to shreds this chica that are threatening his happiness. I mean there are NO patterns and he has lots of women working with him that are friends and even coming to the wedding.
GAH I'm just so infuriated!
TP - that sounds unreasonably unfair for the Mister. Hopefully things get better soon!!!
I use to be in HR and had to deal with these type of claims all the time. It was pretty easy to tell when they were real or false. But you still had to bring all parties involved and hear each side of the story and then follow-up sessions on the path forward. I hope it all goes well for him and glad that he has his evluations on hand to help support his side. Good luck!
