I know it's frustrating, but it's only 2 1/2 months! I've been there, and when you're waiting, each 5 minute increment is like a whole DAY, but keep your eye on the prize. It's in sight!!!
June won't be that far away. You can do it! And you have all of us Bees here to support you when you want to vent and celebrate with you when you get your ring.

Ooh oooh like Bella13 said, maybe he wants to throw you off scent! On our way home from a Mets game last April or May, FL told me there's no way he'd propose before our 2 yr anni that coming Sept. I was sooo disappointed but figured maybe he'd do it during our trip to Disney that fall. Little did I know he already bought the ring in MARCH! He ended up proposing during our weekend trip to DC in June which is what he'd been planning all along. He'd gotten afraid that I was expecting it, and it meant a lot to him to catch me totally off-guard (and I was!!)
My FI told me he was going to propose in January, 2010....
We got engaged April 2009. So don't worry, it could come at anytime!
At least you were blessed w/ a deadline, lol! Just enjoy the anticipation of "when will it be?"!
Consider yourself lucky, if my BF told me that he was planning to propose in June, I'd be over the moon :) June isn't far away.
At least you can relax now rather than hoping it's coming at every corner! Busy yourself with other things to keep your mind off of it! It will be here soon enough. Give yourself a treat and start getting your nails done at the end of May to help you prepare for the perfect, manicured hand for your new rock!
I agree with BellsforHer. I don't have any clue if it's happening soon or in 2 months, or in 6 months, or in a year. If I knew it was basically 3 months away I'd be so excited!
And end of April to June is basically only a month's difference. :)
@twopeasinapod I told my man that he couldn't propose to me unless I had nice nails that day (I was being silly, and as I rarely have a manicure I hope he didn't take me too seriously!) lol
@tostercat - my nails looked awful when my guy proposed! I immediately ran out and got myself a nice manicure! I told him he needed to prepare me more! You should tell your guy that he should surprise you with a manicure first...then the ring ;o)
it's hard to wait the extra time, but let the anticipation be exciting. like others say, he might want to throw you off and it could happen at any moment! but even if not, june will be here before you know it.
At least you have a time line. I wish mine would say something other than no later than December 2010! Lol. Now that's torture. Now, I make sure I keep a fresh manicure because, I never know when. Honestly, I hate being on edge. But, ultimately I will be surprised. I'm looking forward to it.
I agree that he could be purposely misleading you. Last year, FI said we would be engaged before July, and he proposed in April.
@All you wonderful bees: thank you SO much for the support. Waiting is really starting to wear on me, but J has said a million times that he really wants it to be romantic and a surprise and that my (nagging, admitted) is making it really hard for him to accomplish that. I'm trying so hard! But thank you bees, as I really couldn't do it without you!
P.S. Are there any Atlanta bees on here?
Not to get your hopes up, but I also agree with the other bees who say he might be trying to throw you off. My FH always told me there would be no way he would propose before June or July (of last year), and he proposed in May :)
Don't worry! Maybe he is trying to throw you off! If not, I'm sure the time will pass by right before your eyes! Patience is very well worth it!

So J basically told me tonight that a proposal is coming in June. Ugh. I was counting on th end of April. Not happy. Also, a tipsy bee tonight. No fun!
