Go to a fabric store and buy some plain muslin. It's cheap and comes in some colors and it is easy to put a light seam down the sides and end. It is a thinner material so you will need to decide if that works for you. Plus if you are painting your monogram it is will take paint really well. I'm going to do this myself. Muslin runs only a few dollars a yard.

Hey Hive!
Why are there only ugly cheap looking aisle runners out there! Ugg!
OK Hive, I'm on the lookout to purchase a plain white Aisle Runner with out lace or rose prints on them. However I'm not big on the plastic ones either. I'm looking to add our monogram on the runner so the runner needs to be thick without being see thru. I would love to order a professional one however I can't justify spending $100 on an aisle runner. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate any leads! Thanks all!
