Oh, bummer!  Although I’m sure that your extremely disappointed, try to focus on all of the shots she did get for you.  Also, ask your friends and family if they happen to have one of that moment. Hugs!

That’s unfortunate! Ask people who attended the wedding if they have any pictures of the first kiss.

Ugh, that sucks! I know theres nothing that can be done about it now but I would be pretty pissed!

Hopefully one of your guests got the shot.

I concur.  See if a guest got one.  My favorite first kiss picture was one that one of our guest took and not the pro.

I’m SOOO sorry!

In a way I know how you feel, there’s no pictures of my groom’s face when I was walking down the aisle, and it’s not like we did first look photos. ๐Ÿ™

Yeah…. My Fiance and I actually joked about that during our e-pics session, because we did a nice long kiss for her to get a photo. I made a joke to our photog (who is also a close friend) about how I know it takes her a second to get a picture, and she was like “Don’t forget that on your wedding day!’

It’s something I’ve taken to heart… a long smooch might seem awkward to the people there, but it ensures you get that picture!

That sucks…

But I agree with the PP.  We kept it classy, but tried to linger a bit longer to ensure that the photographer had time to snap that picture.

That sucks.  I once saw a photographer miss that shot, interupt the ceremony and make the couple do it again!  I commended him for that, and I am sure the couple appreciated it.

Im so sorry! That really sucks – hopefully one of your guests got the shot. I would send an email out to your guests asking specifically for that photo. In addition – as much as it is a good shot that brides want, you arent ever going to frame that picture (most likely) – it would probably end up as one photo amongst many in an album you create. Hopefully there are other wonderful shots of the two of you that you can frame. Did you have videography?

@PitBulLover:  Great point!! Esp the videography comment.  If they shot in HD, you have a chance to get a decent resolution still image of the kiss from the video footage.

That sucks! Maybe one of your guests got one. One of our friends is an art student and he told us that some couples kiss so quick that the photographer either catches them going in, coming out, or an unflattering shot of the groom going in so hard it smashes up the brides face to show triple chins.

I think it was on an episode of David Tutera to do everything slow and a little bit longer so that the photographer has no chance of missing the shot.

MAYBE since she missed it, you guys can dress up again and get the shot. You don’t need all your guests there to get a close up.
