@MrsHoneyC:  oh no!! I am so sorry! Did you try vacuuming with a nylon hose over the end so things stick, but don’t go into the vacuum? I know it sounds weird but I have found many earrings this way!

You didn’t lose it! It is definitely in your house/bathroom… Did you take your heat vent cover off and look? It’s not like the end disappears into oblivion!

@MrsHoneyC:  could it have been stuck to your clothes and travelled with you to baby’s room?

There may be a lip of sorts under your vanity that would permit items to fall into an area that is under the vanity but not visible unless you are eye level with it on the floor.  You should check that.

Also, whatever you do, do not take out the trash until you have gone through your bathroom wastebasket to ensure that it is not in there.

I am SO sorry.  This is why I hate taking my rings off even for a second to apply hand lotion. I really hope you find your beautiful ring!

@MrsHoneyC:  I just had another thought — check the folds and hem of your shower curtain, if you have one.  Depending on how it is made, perhaps your ring could have fallen into the folds.

Also, be sure to check the inside of your tissue box and look around and behind any bottles you may have near or around your tub.

If you have throw/scatter rugs, look under those, and check your towels and wash cloth prior to putting them in the laundry basket or washer.

Do you have a dog who may have scooped it up in his or her mouth while you were tending to the baby?

I’m just trying to think of anything and everything.

So sorry to hear this! What a gorgeous set. It’s got to be SOMEWHERE in the house. I’m staying hopeful that it will make its way back onto your finger soon!

Was the toilet seat up?  Maybe it went in there.
