    Is it a terrible idea?

We are having kegs and also a signature drink which will be in clear plastic dispensers.

It's cheaper to buy wine in boxes (~4.50/bottle), and Target's wine cubes have won a couple of awards and are actually really good!

Would you pour them into something else or just have the boxes set up? Maybe cover the boxes? Heck, I don't know.

Our wedding is going to be in an old barn... going for a down home, yet classic feel. White roses and BBQ :)

I know a lot of women wouldn't want wine boxes at their weddings, but what about mine or someone else's like mine?

I don't think wine box screams classy... but it doesn't seem like you're trying to scream classy! Your wedding sounds FUN and whats more fun than a punch the slug party? ;)

@gocubbies: maybe you can pour the wine out of the boxes into some different sized decanters..

@CorgiTales: So true. I am trying to keep it from being really "country" haha! I want a little of a classy feel, but really laid back. It's not easy trying to accomplish both of those things (should they even be in the same sentence?). I am not happy about the kegs, but with SO's group of friends and our limited budget, he's leaving me no choice. I probably just need to get over it and have the dang wine boxes, lol.

@dfurst: Love that idea! Now... finding them...

Uh, Wine Boxes : wedding Milk

I have about 5+ of these I was going to use with the mason jars for centerpieces -- but maybe we could put wine in them instead? I would be afraid they would break though. We will have a semi-rowdy crowd.
