We jokingly sent some celebrities wedding invites. Of course Micky and Minnie got one and sent us their "gift" and the president got one as well. Howeverm we also sent some to some random people. Oprah, Ke$ha, Keifer Sutherland, and yes, Lady Gaga. And we just got her RSVP in the mail. Yes? Apparently she is coming? I doubt it but still! Weird!
thats histarical!! What would you do if she actually showed up?? Definitely keep us posted!!

Regardless - frameworthy! Perhaps even more so than a RSVP from the President & First Lady!
Haha, that is awesome! That would be amazing if she actually randomly showed up at your wedding. I never thought about sending invites to celebrities.

I dunno, she would be an interesting guest for sure... I am sure it is either a joke or a mistake. I mean, I know she LOVES her fans but making a special trip for a wedding? Also, if she does come (which would be insane) I hope she isn't there for the ceremony! She would out dress me!

Haha, that is funny. I'm guessing it's either a joke or a mistake, but definitely keep us posted. We are inviting my favorite actor to our reception (who I've actually mingled with quite a few times at conventions through the years) so I'm hoping there's a chance he will actually make it.
Its obviously not her handwriting though... maybe her assistants? All I know is that it isn't her autrograph which kinda bums me out and makes me believe further it was a mistake.
Still. Crazy! Hmm... I wonder if Ke$ha and Oprah are coming now. lol Lets just turn this into a celebrity reception!

We never got our RSVP back from Micky and Minnie, or the Obamas... Those were our only celebrity guest invites.
@Ms Hedgehog: I feel like she cannot got THAT many wedding invitations that she couldn't sign the damn thing herself. Please tell me you googled her autograph to compare whether it was hers or not!
@ellabee: The Mouse's sent us an autographed picture Congratulating us by name. And a "just married" Cinderella pin. Its really cute.
I'm both horrified and fascinated by the prospect! Although this confirms that I was right when I told my fiance that he was not allowed to send an invite to Larry The Cable Guy!
@MsBrooklynA: I did and it looks very vaguely similer to when she writes her name. NOTHING like her autograph.

If you're having a plated meal, just have an extra place card and give it to a friend in case she shows.
Caterers usually make 5% extra, so you'll have food if she shows.
To me it looks too pretty to be her signing it. Way to... normal.
But if she did show up? I would put her next to my FMIL so she would have somebody else to talk crazy with.

I was just thinking that too! I can totally see her doing a impromptu crazy appearance like that because it will be out there and unexpected! Which is all part of her image after all. :D
haha! Is she bringing a +1? Or rather a +20 since she'll have an entourage? :P
I have to admit that I'd love to see how you work the seating. Maybe with your parents? :D
lol I'm sorry, I'm cracking up over here thinking of all the fun things that could be associated with this! rofl! That'd be kinda awesome if she did really show though!
better hope she doesn't since it'll be a parade of people in her crew you'd have to feed. how many body guards & +1's would she have?!
@mwitter80: it doesn't look like she's touring this summer, which at least means she isn't already booked for a concert in Maine or something...this is very interesting.
We joked about having her at our wedding.
My future SIL is friends with some of the people she hangs with.
@Ms Hedgehog: Its not unheard of actually. Not exactly the same situation, but some of you may recall, that she was staying at a hotel a while back, that happened to have a wedding going on, and so she totally wedding crashed! Love that kind of stuff about her!
I totally hope that she really shows up (even though I'm not personally a Lady Gaga fan)! What an awesome story and fun pictures if she did!
