I would trust your gyno. She has seen and heard the gammet of problems and concerns. If you still aren’t sure then it can never hurt to get a second oppinion from another professional.

Since you just switched bc 5 mos. ago, it could be your body “coming off” one type of pill while adjusting to another type of pill, thus the bleeding.  The difference in hormones could make your body go “huh?!”!!!!

Good luck!

I had this happen a few months ago and it was just random breakthrough bleeding for no apparent reason. I guess it just happens sometimes

@SunriseMidwest:I hate that scare!  I’ve had breakthrough bleeding after being on the patch for months switching from the pill.  It’s highly doubtful you are pregnant and I would trust the gyno.  Also, after being on the patch for more than a year and it ALWAYS starting on a Friday, suddenly it has decided to start on Thursday.

ive never been on the pill (i chart) so im glad others are posting about their experiences with breakthru bleeding because i was wondering what your ovulating dates would be

i should also add try not to stress, that will affect your body as well – i remember the one time i thought i was pregnant and i was stressing about it and after i pee’d on about 6 sticks at the one time (it was funny thinking back) and they were all negative my body relaxed and my period started about 3hrs later
